Scav Girl = best End game character, Shaman = best mid game

So having put around 9 hours into this game and maxed out a lot of things I have come to the conclusion that Scav Girl is the best character once she is fully prestiged, but shaman is the best character up until scav girl is fully prestiged...

The "equipment runner rig" is likely the best rig for both Shaman and Scav girl, but Scav girl needs an investment of 22,500 exp to use it, while Shaman can use it immediately..
This rig has 3 large slots (extra money OR water) and 4 container slots.

So while leveling scav girl she is going to have TERRIBLE per run gains compared to shaman (with her exp constantly resetting).
Shaman also is able to carry more.
The health difference doesn't mean much in the long run.

So once maxed out, Scav Girl will likely outplay shaman (due to her speed boost)
But until fully maxed, shaman is king for run : loot ratio gains

Bag Man will be the best option if going into a level with the intention of blowing ♥♥♥♥ up with heavy weapons...

i think old man is the best cuz of assault and sniper rifle that u can use 1 shot low lvl mobs and with high calibers you can destroy light to medium armor mobs + he has big rig too and heals more

I think Scav girls ability to outrun everything >> then what weapons each character has, unless you go in with the intention to try to ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up personally.

That said, there is probably an argument to be made in favor of Mask Man for kill missions

Can mask man use heavy weapons? Because if he can't I think that goes to bag man instead...

Actually no you're right, depending on the type of targets you might prefer Old Man or Bag Man

For general gameplay though Scav Girl is definitely the best, closely followed by Shaman

I imagine Gunhead's gonna be more fight oriented

Running Bag Man currently, so much space in your inventory to loot and the LMGs rip, complete fun factor. Movement speed has not been an issue apart from stalkers where its just pointless even with 1800 HP get 1 tapped. Only gripe i have.

Im nearing prestige 10 on Shaman, and being able to bring more back per run is nice, if anything just to stockpile on things. Once you get better rigs with more slots for water, gacha chests, or locked chests, even better. Those chests are quite worth your time to get.

im prestege 20 with old man when you pretege you get more speed making scav girl useless at max presteige as old man can out run any thing fast af also at prestege 19 he climbs and valts at 2x speed he gets more healing more health and gets the large gunner bag so u can grab 3 grenade launchers per run

I play as the guy with the helmet and why??......because he is better in combat and looks great......

i mean u cant outrun the dog and grabber other than that why whould you want to outrun anything ?

Only character that matters is Bagman purely to carry as much ammo and loot as possible.

The one's everyone recommends are just youtube celebrities by people that don't understand the game imho.

Hard disagree with OP. Also using the words "likely" and "might" shows that you don't know what you are actually talking about. I will tell you right now that Bag man is BY FAR the best scav end game, early game, mid game, any game. And I can tell you this with absolute certainty.

How do I know this? I cheated to give all of my characters 25 prestige and max skills. Then I gave every one of my characters their BIS gear. Bag man absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥ on everyone else, scav girl included. The two best rigs in the game are Pack Mule and The Rack and Only Bag Man can use them and he can use them IMMEDIATELY at level 1.

Also he has access to the 3 best skills in the game, HRF, Grenade launcher and the massive carry capacity perk. Everything else pales in comparison. Next to scav girl, he loses maybe 10-15% movement speed. A very very small price to pay for being infinitely better in every other area. I'll die on this hill.
