Where to get scanner equipment?

From vendors only? do they restock their sashes? from Zombies? what are the chances?

Are u talking about one with camera connected to cyborg head. If yes, then u can buy more from rig vendor (need 16 days of water for him to appear)

the point is: I bought it once, then died with it(skill issue)

Did u bought them all (he sell 3 of them at a time a think). If yes u need to wait for restock (time countdown on top of item selection)

Iv found 2 in game. I believe in those lock boxes you can find and have to haul out to open them. I haven't figured out how to use the scanner yet though.

It goes in your large rig slot, then you can activate it with 'Q'

It sucks that a little camera and control module somehow take up a full large item slot in your pack. It should just be a pack attachment like the pack flashlight.
