Has anyone found a mech pilot to extract if so what zone I can't seem to find em

I've been trying Mesa cause I think I saw exos there but I haven't seen a pilot drop yet.

I've watched a mech get battered by a helicopter and tanks for about 5 minutes straight before I had to move on because of the amount of hostiles is it even possible for them to die rn?

Did you unlock a bigger rig for it yet? I'm not sure if any of the low tier rigs can carry the pilot.

Edit: at least that's how they did on a video. Not sure how it really works here. I'm looking for one too.

I finally killed a mech in Elephant Mausoleum and got the pilot. If you’re playing coop and you’re not the host the game won’t register that you completed the quest though.

To anyone considering trying to replicate what Spartan did to complete this quest, be advised. Even small mechs are extremely tough and basically immune to small arms fire. You need heavy weapons to take one out. My friend killed one using an Anti-Tank rifle and about 20-30 rounds of ammo, but you might be able to use IEDS or grenade launchers too.

I've rescued the pilot from scorched enclave. Sometimes the helicopters will take out an exo-suit.

Mechs will eventually fall to small weapons fire, but only in sufficient quantities. Naturally, you're supposed to let them mow down a few armies and watch as they eventually bite off more than they can chew and blow up.
I'd say they're kind of stupid, but hey, all those hours playing Titanfall and Mechwarrior have taught me that overconfidence is a prevalent and recurring disease among mecha pilots.

You can kill a mech as a squad, we have gotten 2 pilots on the elephat level killing the exo in the hangar. It takes a bit of time to do but it's fast with a squad

2 ERus tanks can take on 1 Eropa Mech in the first area. Lure them to it from a long range bullet and loot the burning wreck.

ashen mesa , burned enclave are the one where you're likely to find mechs

In Scorched Enclave the exos die pretty often. Either they wander in the trenches and get overwhelmed, or they run in the open area near the pipeline and get blasted by T-90s. The thing to know is that the downed pilot will spawn in the flames of the wreckage and can be very hard to see, but will despawn after awhile. Also the flames from destroyed vehicles don't hurt you.

For everyone still asking you need to kill/let die the small europan mech and have a pack with a large open slot then when you loot the mech the pilot gets strapped to youre back, they spawn on scortch , ashen and mech trench
