Is it possible to drop my gun ?
Cant seem to figure out how to pick up a rifle and drop my equipped weapon

i would like to know too also go into raid with one gun two is more ammo types than i need

You dont. The second quest gives you a rig with three slots for salvage guns, but you can't equip them in the mission, and most of the guns you find (but not all) will be scrap.
