Please disclose Epic Online Game Services and provide their TOS
You can have it sure, but I should be aware before buying your product, downloading it, launching it, and having epic download an unwanted program without me agreeing or reading any TOS. Don't try to hide it.

I wouldn't have bought and now refunded it if I knew about Epic Online being required

I found a mod saying this:
"Dear community, you do not need an EPIC account to play the game. This is only needed for crossplay functionality when you and your buddies play on different platforms (Steam/EPIC). In that case the Epic account needs to be linked with your Steam account. This will be needed for more platforms in the future > Thanks guys!"

Please give us the option to not install Epic software or ANY other software that is not mandatory for the game to function. Use of Epic is not disclosed on the store page, and a forced installation of software that I neither need nor want is not welcome.

I do not agree to the installation and use of any Epic software on my PC or network.

I see some posts that this information is disclosed on the official discord server. Potential customers should not need a third-party tool to receive this information.

Is there ANY other software that is NOT required for the game to run?

That is not the issue, I do not want a 3rd party program on my computer that I havent read the TOS or agree with. It should be listed on the store page

It's not doofus. This is to LINK YOUR EPIC account now obvious lets use the full power of our brains here. YOU WOULD NEED AN ACCOUNT. Meaning you would have to MAKE ONE. At which point you would see all those things you are asking for.

It's hard to link something you don't have.

Feel like I have to add this: To add you don't download ANYTHING. You are linking your account so your friends on EPIC can see you on STEAM and you can crossplay.

Nothing you are saying makes a lick of sense.

Go to programs and files, search epic games online services, you have a 300MB program installed on your computer that doesn't uninstall when you uninstall the game.

Think before you type Mr.Shortbus.

Are you seriously implying that you read the TOS for any piece of software you install?

Yes, I do, specifically the data retention, security, privacy, and anything that forced me to enter legal arbitration and you should to.

Having files on your PC and it being installed are two different things. There is no traffic to the services on the data tracker I have so it doesn't appear installed.

Doofus.

Other than obvious the UNREAL ENGINE crash report. Which shocker is owned by EPIC.

It's there for FUTURE Crossplay. They appear to be planning on expanding to other platforms and EOS has a Crossplay feature. That's likely when it will be "installed' so currently I don't think they'd be required to give notice.

When they decide to do it. They will notify you.

How do you think the game connects you to Epic Games Services without transmitting information to epic games servers. And where do you think it downloads the updates and software from if not EPIC GAMES SERVERS

Also,

2.6. If your Video Game requires use of an Epic Account to access all features of the Video Game, this fact must be prominently displayed prior to the point of purchase and/or download.

Crossplay is a feature, they are in violation of EG's own terms for their developers.
