Can you tell us what happened with Gala games?

I am assuming there will no longer be NFTs in the game could you please tell me what happened and why you are no longer launching on their platform?

Not a dev so I can't say for certain but my best guess? The concept of blockchain games became really popular with certain companies in 2021 and Fun Dog probably thought it unwise to miss out on a potential revenue stream if said concept exploded in popularity, so in 2022 they made a long bet and jumped on board Gala's train. Then of course it turned out gamers (most of them anyway) hate NFTs in their games with a passion and so the concept did not take off like a Saturn V. In fact it went in the opposite direction like a Falcon 9.
