I hope they do, I'm much more interested in stealth than the gunplay , i'd much rather take no weapons to loot more gear, imo
But the weapons you're carrying don't impact your carry capacity for everything else as far as I can tell...
I could be wrong. Does weapon weight count towards your backpack capacity in terms of weight?
Not as far as I can tell, but ammo does.
The main appeal I would see for not carrying any weapon at all would be the enemy AI seeing you as the lowest threat level, beyond pistols. Weapon choice does impact how likely the AI to engage you/how fast they engage you based on the threat they see you as. I assume they would still kill you for the lolz, but it would be a lot easier to slip past when they're focused on something else.
Gave me full on MiB flashback here when Will Smith shot the cardboard cut out girl with the algebra book and said she was the most suspect looking one.
How an 8 year old gonna be out here at this time of night with an algebra book.
Good times, good times.
Thats what i was intending to say, that i'd be able to loot more with a lower threat level, i didn't articulate it very well unfortunately.
Excellent movie.
Now, should both weapons (even the one that isn't held in hands) count toward the threat level ? Might be too easy to have a huge HMG on the back if holding a pistol cancels it all.
