As others have said lockboxes are great for rep in general, but any high value loot can work.
I basically try to make everyone happy, and avoid killing anyone/offending anyone. If you become indispensable to them, their local leaders will not be able to afford to kill you.
75% of a price (trusted rep) - is a total maximum price discount. 100% (neutral rep) means no discount. 125% (untrusted reo) means you pay 25% more
Normally it is enough to sell about 100k worth of loot to rise your rep next level.
its easy to get it and your reputation climbs easy to max if you sell stuff
only go for missions with mission only rewards like weapons and high xp to level up fast your prestige
