Can you lose your purchased rigs if upgrade your prestige and reset your experience ?

Im farming to buy the Medium equipment gunrunner Rig.. after upgrading my character skills. i was wondering if i lose my purchased RIG equipment ;purchased from the special rig vendor , removed from storage if i reset my experience points,

No, nothing rig related is lost when you prestige.
Only time something is lost from your rig is only the upgrades themselves when you die and cant retrieve your tombstone

"note" obviously some characters cant use the newer rigs until skills are re-purchased

Can you clarify that ?

Im using the Old Man and im using the vanilla ,Standard Gun Runner rig.. likely everyone can use. without skills or even better.

But in Old Man character skills page , there is the option to Upgrade via skills , to other better rigs.
Equippment Runner RIG ___ X___ , Medium Equipment GUnRunner rig ___X___
and there is the option more mule and Heavy Containter GunRunner RIg.

So i spend my Experience points into Medium Equipment Gunrunner rig, once you do that ,the option to BUY the rig from the special Vendor opens.. So im farming credits to buy it.
My question , if once i unlock it from Skills + i buy from the special vendor it.. If i will not have the option to use it again , if my character skills page RESET to Cero with prestige..
Because everything i do prestige,, i have to start all over again the skills pages..

So im wondering if my purchased with Credits more advanced medium Rig , is removed or not from my inventory , if i reset the skills with prestige..
Or if .. Not removed ...., maybe even if its in the inventory , no longer can use it , until i upgrade again the skill set to it ?

This is what happens, you cannot lose a "rig", only it's upgrades if you die and fail to reach your grave (btw, it retains the upgrades/weapons from previous deaths, so as long as you touch your grave before dying again, you won't lose anything).

If you equip a rig or weapon that a character can use with an unlocked skill, and then prestige the character, the rig and weapons will be unequipped and go back to your inventory (though be careful when swapping weapons, there's a bug that can delete or duplicate weapons right now if you don't exit the menu and reopen it every time you swap a weapon for another, to reload your inventory), once you unlock the skill again with said character you can equip said rig/weapons again.

You cannot lose a rig ever, even with the current bugs, only it's upgrades.
