I have the three drone components (debris) for the mission, but I can't turn it in? Do you have to get all three in one go? Or what am I missing here?

Are you sure you have the correct 3 parts? Does it say on your mission quest list 3/3?

There are two kinds of drones, Eurasian and Europan. They drop different kinds of parts that are incompatible with one another. They also don’t drop the correct part 100% of the time.

Are you on one of the first quests? Because it’s definitely the hardest part of opening up the rest of the game. After completing that quest and then entering and then extracting from Ashen Mesa you open up all the other quests.

But there are also two separate quests for each faction’s kind of drone.

Edit: Never mind. You have the title of the quest in the titie of the post. Yeah, that’s one of the first quests that requires Europan drones. Just keep at it. It’s a frustrating quest when you’re just starting out, but the game does open up quite a bit once you finish that one and the next quest (which is a LOT easier) plus get up to 16 water in the water reservoir.

I’m sorry it’s not letting you complete the quest. I hope my post is helpful. Europan drones are the cylindrical ones. Eurasian are the insect looking ones. You want parts from the Europan drones to complete the quest.

I for sure did have the correct parts (the upright drones), but coincidentally just now had luck on my side and got the 3 parts again in one go. Before I just got the parts from individual missions, never 3 in one go, but couldn't turn it in. Just now I had the luck of getting 3 parts in one go (2 drone debris and one telemetry thing) and it let me complete it. It seems awfully weird that you can't complete the mission by getting the parts on separate runs, but that's how it is for now.

Items collected before the acceptance of the mission are not allowed to be turned in for completion of said mission....I tried to collect a bunch for when that mission was available again and wouldn't let me use them....I kind of like it as it takes farming out of the equation.

Frustrating af. I always have trouble with corpse tank spawns so I collected 3 parts without an active quest (every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time it refuses to spawn while quest is active). Now I can't just turn in that tank parts.

What's funnier, you actually CAN turn in items you gather before picking quest. You have to leave item in your loadout after extraction, then go again with the item in your rig, drop it and pick it up again. I did it with exo pilot (she stayed on my rig after completing quest for some reason, cost 700cr). I went to Enclave, dropped pilot and picked her up.

I guarantee you that’s an exploit, but it works, so have at it.

I did NOT know it worked for the exo pilot quest. That makes me laugh a little. Good for you getting a little creative. That 10k xp is no joke, either. It’s particularly convenient when you just make an extra prestige level and you’re playing a character that needs to invest some xp to unlock traits that allow you to play the way you want to. Like some characters have certain rigs or guns locked behind investing 2000xp. 10k xp would bypass that handily.

Yeah but it looks kinda dumb. Scav can't sell stuff they scavenged to people who *actually* need it. I hope devs rework it in some way because I also can't find europan targeting systems with active quest but I found a couple of them without quest.
