The Forever Winter

Carrying Capacity Bug?
I've noticed since the October update that if I so much as loot a body, my rig shoots up 10-20 kg.

As you can tell from the combat loadout, a 919 pack of ammo only weighs 0.3kg. And yet upon entering a mission, each ammo pack ends up weighing 1.1kg. After just looting two containers I exceeded 100% of my carry weight. Even though from memory there should be plenty of space to spare in my rig.

I've given up trying to understand the rig weight thing, and now its effects on player movement, I think the code for most of these things is like :

int doSomething(Game.Inventory forgetIT) {
/*
* Place working code here
*/
return 100;
}

:steamhappy:

Just had something similar, I was running bagman with a fully upgraded pack mule rig. I left with 1,341.8 kg of loot in my rig and still had room to spare. I'm fairly certain thats probably not right, strong as bagman is I doubt he can carry 7-8 times his own body weight .

After checking other items.
First Aid Kit weighs 0.5kg in combat loadout, it becomes 4.4kg in a mission.
A pack of .308 weighs 0.2kg in combat loadout, then becomes 1.9kg per pack in a mission.
A pack of .50 cal weighs 0,7kg in combat loadout, then becomes 5.7kg kg in a mission.
The 40mm grenades weighed 2.4kg in the combat loadout...which now weighs 19.2kg per pack!

I have a suspicion that the devs accidentally multiplied the weight of everything by 8-9 times.

Very interesting, and it explains the knock on effects some players (like me) are experiencing,, I accept that things get tweaked but my poor old Scav Girl well she's acting like she's carrying a full dumpster on her back. The numbers in the Inventory View screen make no damn sense either, my rig is half empty, the compartments show one % number, one has like 8% in or something and I can't add more. My rig is both empty and full simultaneously, it is very problematic :steamhappy: But meh, it is what it is,, but I just don't want to be infuriated by a game that I DID like A LOT :CunningPepeRed: :waifu:

Im feeling the same, a single looted kala magazine weights 12% (around 8kg) of what i'm de facto able to carry in my equipment runner rig.

Also, there are some display inconsistencies: in the combat loadout tab, my deployed items weight 10.3kg out of 83kg, but in the ready room 0kg / 63.7kg (the default capacity, without the shaman skills unlocked). Once deployed, the "used" weight amounts to 35kg. Just dont get it at all.

Wich is even more outrageous is that sometimes dropping an item actually increases the carried weight.
I have also noticed really strange readings from my Rig as well. There must be something bugged.
