Lost my gun runner rig i got from a quest

i know that if you dont have water from not logging in and playing you lose resources and possibly even guns, i didnt know that you lose your rigs which absolutely sucks. How do i restart, can i get my rig back. This entirely kills the mood for playing the game :(

If you do a search for what you lose, I read that you don't lose your rigs? I would ask in the official discord for clarification but:

If the next run is not like in 2 days - you can get back rig and weapons /-parts by going back in and looking for the "rip"-sign on top of the hud.

The given rigs can get lost - the ones you buy later wont.
Just grind and get a base ...

You didn't lose your rig - you lost your containers.

I tested it before and you do lose your rigs, making you have to rebuy them except that rig you get from a quest early on is permanently lost because that is the only way to get it and the quests don't reset. Only reason why people thought you didn't is because the game will show your rig still on your back, but if you check your inventory or go into a mission you will only find the starter rig.

Wow... so the quest disappearing is an oversight by the devs, or was this a design feature? I mean... do the developers know about this?

I have lost every thing several times, it now costs me around 60k to restore them.

Mine is still there and ready for use.
