So when is early access over?
And we get rid of the water system with a patch?

I am not touching this game until then. Not worth the pain.

1-2 yr on ea?

Water 2.0 I think before Xmas based on the Q&A. Nobody knows what this will change - the devs want updates coming to be a surprise.

Q1 of next year for water usually means the first quarter of 2025 not Christmas but, I'm just a smart ass

Based on QA should be gunhead, new enemies, bug fixes and some other ♥♥♥♥ for christmas

I hope Fun Dogs does not change the water mechanic but doubles down on it just adding more content that relates to the water. I so hope fun dog does not bend knee to the people that cry and moan and threaten not to play a game. I hope people like you move on and dont play the game.

Have some patience.. - It's a lot of work and truely takes time. - I wouldn't be surprised if a good game needs one or even two years for a solid 1.0.

Ps. I hope the devs reward this patience by a good roadmap with regular updates to keep in contact.

I think they originally planned a Q4 2025 release (Christmas) per their original release video. Go grab your pacifier and play some Fortnite if you think the water system is going anywhere though.

Considering the game's state & the fact that they mostly pumped out a bunch of hotfixes that introduced a bunch of new problems in 2 months, I'd say "one or even two years for a solid 1.0" is extremely optimistic.

Idc if water stays or goes & I still hope Fundog manage to turn their vision into a reality, but them apparently just pulling random stuff out of their ass as they go along & a roadmap having been straight up declined, claiming they'd "rather show than tell" are HUGE red flags imho...

Yes and no. I would like to see water become more meaningful while actually playing, but I still really dislike the idea of having a real time clock on a good chunk of your progress while not playing.
I want to play the game when I want it, because I want it, and not just because an artificial system tells me "hey, you have to play or we wipe the innards".
If you want the water system removed, Get WeMod, a mod that can give you infinite water barrels.
