I hate how weapon presets duplicate your weapon
I do not think the weapon preset is a good system, the interface should be changed to handle this some other way. In the current system, if you put any attachments on a weapon it duplicates the weapon in your inventory so that you have the default naked weapon, and a second modified weapon that has your attachments that you chose. But the result is that I often accidentally take the naked gun into combat when changing my loadout. It's a very common mistake grabbing the wrong version of the weapon because there is now 2 of them in your inventory.

I would actually prefer just to modify the gun and have no presets at all - that would fix this issue because you would only have one version of that gun in your inventory at any time. When suppressors and optics are as important as they are in FW, walking into battle without them can be suicide.

That being said, presets would be nice at higher levels when you have a lot of gear, I just don't think the current system handles them very well. There's got to be a better UX to handle weapon presets than this.

Even worse is that there's no filter to show only customised guns. You can hide customised, but not exclusively show them, so they're always mixed in with everything else.

This problem is further exacerbated by the lack of proper renaming. It'd help a lot if I could name my guns things like "SVD (Suppressed, 4x)" or "CQB AA12". But no, best we can do is "AA12 1".

Still, they finally allowed click transfer of items to allies last update, so I can see all this being changed eventually.

These aren't big things but I do feel them. Will sell all ammo and guns I don't use and it's messy to have them taking up slots in an otherwise clean inventor.
Naming just seems like a place holder so expect that will come in not too distant future.

Ya, only reason it's become a big thing for me is about 3 times or more I've accidentally taken a naked gun into a raid. It's a skill issue on my part I guess, but I just think other games handle weapon preset/loadouts better and devs should take note of preventable issues like this.
Is it really you or some bug? Because I'm sure I've taken the right gun and ended up in raid with a stock one.
As well as loaded in with a modded gun that then appeared as stock to me, but had co op players able to see the mods on it, and all of us hear the silenced sound effects.
So there's definitely a few issues there that might not be skill or attention based.

It must be bug, because when you save them in "preset menu", they change look.

Agreed. Having to verify that I selected the correct modded weapon is cumbersome. I also wish that our inventory had the same option to show only ammunition that the vendors have.
