yeah immersion breaking for sure looks goofy as ♥♥♥♥, wouldve loved it better if its wrapped around a Power armor thing and thats the thing u can customize. Instead of Just a guy with a massive furniture ikea rack on his back

dude, here in my country u can find some old men, scavenging all the streets with 2 dogs by their side, and a huge if not the same backpack. Life is though, u need to survive.

It seems a bit oversized but it reminds me of death stranding in that it looks like we will actually see it fill up as we loot and the shape determines the storage size. I look forward to what the dev team does with them although it is important that we can still see our character or aim when needed.

Believe it or not, these kind of bags aren't unusual. The largest size a hiking bag can be is 120 gallons, and that thing is HUGE. You could live out comfortably with a well stocked bag like that in the woods or desert. Chest, Stomach, Hip straps, all good spots for a holster, pockets up the ass, and the only limiting factors at that point is how much you hate having a good back.

I also dont know how you can sneak around and avoid combat with the massive backpack.
I cant imagine carrying a bunch of junk on your back would be totally silent, either, but maybe noise matters less because it an active warzone or something.
