Screen is bigger than my screen in full screen mode!
This has happened in another indie game too. I set it to full screen in the options menu, and I set the resolution to 1920x1080, which is my monitor's resolution. But when I start the game, it's bigger than my actual screen.

Has anybody ever had this issue with a game before? I'm guessing it's a fault on my end, but I can't figure it out. I don't have multiple displays enabled as far as I can tell.

I'm using windows 8.1 on a laptop with optimus technology.

It sounds like an overscan issue? or its underscan one of the two.

But I'm not using an external monitor or anything. And it fits perfectly in windowed mode.

I had the same issue. To solve this I set Scaling to Full-screen on GPU level in my Nvidia Control Panel

Just wanted to say. I was having an issue where windows was putting the task bar over my game. Also i have dual screen and a few pixels on my second screen were from the game on the first monitor. And The game wasn't doing full screen with any other resolution. The game was Lego Jurassic World.

Anyhow, this fix worked, thank you andre. :steamhappy:

However the settings were 2 different ones.
It asks how to scale, i used "full screen"
and then it asks what to perform the scaling with where i chose "GPU"

Very unprofessional, they should’ve read your screen size while installing. It’s like a carpenter installing a door bigger than the opening. I call this Linux ‘92 third world programming
