1. By default, games in packs would not run from the launcher, but standalone games would.
2. If, under Compatibility, I force it to use either Linux runtime (3.0 or 1.0), then all of the games I tested launch.
I did not test anything beyond the basic ability to launch games, but if anyone tries the above to fix the issue, then please post if it works for you or not.
Thanks, hadn't thought of that. That works, and the launched games work fine after a good amount of playing.
From the patch notes:
https://steamcommunity.com/games/2828500/announcements/detail/4368013560344221506
"A small subset of Steam Deck users experienced a boot loop if they restarted their Steam Deck after launching The Jackbox Megapicker. This has been resolved in the Megapicker."
There is more information on it from their Reddit, including on what to do if your Deck was affected before it was patched (re-formatting was never required, but some impatient people did it anyway; it required the deleting of a file), and what caused it... but it was patched a fair bit ago, and I have heard of no reports of any issues post-patch.
Edit:
The warning/note is appreciated. Just adding information, including that it has been patched.
