Trying to think of a way to make 'upgrades' possible, but still keep some way to keep rebuilding worthwhile, when you have the time.
At some point you'll have to rebuild, as new technologies open, and you get different sized weapons, benches, etc, or you need to make room for other stuff, you'll need to change the shape of some areas.
However, artificially creating that need is frustrating. Early game, I don't need to rebuild my two stories of storage, beginning workshops, planters, and turrets, I should just be able to slap stone over the wood already there and call it a day. Each of the house types should match the same dimensions as the previous house types so they CAN be upgraded in place if people should choose to do so, not artificially force them to redo everything.
It actually are replaceable but will leave wood pillars inside
Which are easy to remove anyway.
Just put stone house over wood one
And the square and pillars are also replaceable as one way to free repair
I already complain about the leftover in my suggestions
石頭屋可以直接含過木頭房子,再後面的房子大小都一樣可以直接覆蓋過去
而且像方塊跟柱子也都可以直接蓋上去切換
最搞笑的是階梯可以穿過方塊這點
It won't let you do it if there are two houses next to each other. On the base level 2 6x5s side by side fits exactly with one square open for a ladder. If you try to replace it, there is no stone equivalent, and it won't remove two houses to place one down, so you can't upgrade in place the 6x5, and you can't place the stone down without removing both houses on the bottom, and everything on top of them.
I guess you can deconstruct one then replace another
Overweight only damage when moving to next area
So it's fine to rearrange
As it also no falling damage
Just remember, don't cut connection which will cease collapses as it return only half the resources
