Need help changing the music

I have been trying to add the ai war music to the game by editing the orchestra file in the music folder. I managed to make the music play in game but the original music also plays at the same time. I only want to hear the ai war music though. I see theres a mod to make this easier but I have the game on gog. Im probly just not editing the orchestra file right. Any ideas?

As long as your edited or overridden music file doesn't include the original tracks, they shouldn't be playing.

I fixed it. They all played together because they were all under the same arrangement. Just needed to make a separate arrangement for every song.

Uh, the 'mod to make this easier' doesn't make it easier at all. It just lets you use multiple music files for the main menu, and randomly loops through those files.

How do I add music to this game it seems just putting music in the music folder is not working :/

You need to edit orchestra.txt. Unfortunately, I can't be of any more help than that - the system always confused me as to how to make the music sound as it would have sounded in Media Player (minus volume changes, I guess), so I steered clear of it. (It's possible that this was a mistake, and that I could have done without changes. Oh well. xD)
