From October 28th (11:00 UTC) to November 2nd (11:00 UTC), discounts in the Gaijin store and on Steam await you.
Each issue of our series focuses on a certain aspect of the game or a particular mechanic, in which we correct smaller, but noticeable bugs and add new interesting features.
Machine guns and mobility. Two things that are hard to combine: partly because of the weight of these weapons and also because of their devastating power. Many of you have tried the Browning .303 (Japan, Battle Pass) and the Browning 1919A4 (USA, Research) and concluded that using their bipods or going prone with them is extremely inconvenient. Starting with this update, you'll be able to fire from the hip even while moving, but of course, this is still not an easy feat, so your movement speed will be reduced to a slow walk and as for the accuracy ... well, the tracers might prove to be useful.
The "Off-road patrol" update introduced off-road vehicles to the game. In this update, we've improved some of their characteristics:
We've improved a number of rules across three mission modes! Let's start with "Conquest". The time it takes to capture and to neutralize a point has been increased by 5 seconds, but don't worry, the battles won't become longer, just more action-packed, because we've also moved the spawn points closer to the capture points. The changes affect the following missions: Munda Trail, New Georgia, Tractor Plant, Gavutu, Mountain pass, Rzhev: Left Bank and Guadalcanal Coast.
The liberation of the Philippines from Japan began on October 20th, 1944, when American forces under the command of General Douglas MacArthur landed on the island of Leyte. Two years earlier, after Roosevelt ordered him to withdraw from the Philippines, fearing that Corregidor would soon fall and he would be taken prisoner, MacArthur said: "I shall return". This campaign was the fulfillment of that promise.
