No more COOP?

For the longest time there was a "Co-op" tag on the game's steam page. But I've recently noticed it's been removed. Does this mean there will no longer be a co-op feature? That was really the biggest selling point for me.

well it losted my intrest.when i saw in the thing coop i was like omg. I been a huge fan of roller coaster tycoon. been really wanting it whre it multiplayer or where you compete against each other of seperate parks or something

You should know, you wont be able to get ANY user created rides, tracks, addons, content, or anything that is shared via steam workshop (which will be everything) if you do that... just not simply not worth cracking, you're gonna loose 50% of what makes the game if you do that... silly...

Those are user defined tags. The developer doesn't put them there. Tags are not what I'm concerned about.
However this was their big selling point at the time of announcment and it no longer says so on the page that there will be coop other than visiting peoples parks.

Co-op will most likely come later down the road to keep players playing, you can note that we will have a friend system in the update post though, where you can at least see other player's parks, but yeah, Co-op is what alot of players are looking forward to, myself included, however this should not be a deciding factor for anyone. This game is (most likely, in my opinion) going to hit the most sales from players that have came from past rollercoaster tycoons, just look at how many other features there are other than co-op, the possibilities are almost endless. The dev team is putting in ALOT of work, just becuase ONE single feature MIGHT not make it in on release, doesnt mean you should just abandon the game all together.

I will be buying this game on day of release (most likely), I am a HUGE fan of the rollercoaster tycoon franchise, and this one looks like it could be the best one yet

There Bots out there that own these games and only play them to download and share the workshop content.

I'm glad they've reduced the scope of the game to try and better get the game in a good state in time for release. It could still end up being terrible, but it's a good sign they are actually doing something to try and improve things quickly and not just hoping things will get better.

So basically they just lost myself and 12 of my friend group. We all planned on PAYING for the game ONLY because it was supposed to have COOP. Now all of us are not interested in paying for it.... sad

they announced it will be coming in a post launch update. they want to focus on making a good game in a reasonable amount of time and not waste resources on a feature that the majority of the players will under utilize

i don't really care about the workshop in this game, it's fun, yes, but i never used any mods in RCT1, 2 and 3.

I have no idea how you would have a coop mode in this game. Obviously it's single player? :S
