Very Laggy

The game performance is very laggy in my laptop. I've tried lowering the graphic requirements. But it doesn't seem to help.

Can anyone help me on this?

The performance isn't optimized yet!
They will optimize on the next updates!

For now we just need to wait until the upcoming updates.

I have a i73820 and a gtx 980 and i get lag its the game not your computer.

Most of the "lag" / fps drops for me come from when im placing down paths and the cursor is over a path that is placed already and it highlights. FPS goes from 60 on highest settings down to about 10.
System 6700k @ 4.5 2 980ti classys 16gb 2800mhz Benq BL3201 4k monitor install on 7200 hd. just FYI
Post specs in OPs next time so you can get help. Like others said , not optimized, check for 2 gps and if you do make sure its running on dedicated .

Dont forget this game is not optimised, and laptops graphics are listed as last updates, destops cards are there main focus atm. as stated on the development forums. You could see if theres any new drivers up for your laptop, since builds will be tested around latest drivers. but wont be optimised.

I am running this on an Asus Zenbook with an I7 processor and intel 520 graphics. I actually get 1 frame and then no response anymore in the application. It then hangs, although the music keeps playing. Then windows asks me to close the application. I would expect that an I7 high end laptop would be sufficient to play on, seeing that even I5 processors on this board seem to work. So please improve the laptop performance. Really want to play this on the couch :)

Sys requirements.... MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)
Processor: Intel 2.3 Ghz Core i5 or AMD equivalent
Graphics: GeForce GTX 460 or AMD equivalent
Additional Notes: Subject to Change
Theres no mention about Intel graphics, doesnt mean it wont work at release, but at this time not supported. Not bashing just pointing it out.

Play at 1024x768 resolution at lowest graphical preset for those with weak PC.

If it's still really bad even at that resolution and settings... Time to upgrade to modern desktop or refund the game.

I have a modern desktop. It is the game..its not optimized well yet for all pc setup's.

My game lags too. GTX 660ti 2gig, AMD 6 core 3.8 GHz, 32 gig RAM. So, I don't it matters what kind of system you have.

so in a later update the lagging should stop? 'cause this is just annoying. it took me forever to get past th 57% bug finally get that sorted and it takes 5 minutes to place a piece of path
