How do I find my employees?
I have rides breaking down, and ppl complaining about a messy park, despite having (supposedly) 3 mechanics and 3 janitors. Where do I go to find them and tell them which rides to go to fix/clean?

I'm having the same problem, peeps are constantly complaining about my park being dirty and rides are breaking down and I've hired 4 mechanics and 4 janitors.

So far I have found no way to point my employees in any direction. I hope that I missed it or will come out later. That was a necessity in the older games. There is vomit everywhere and my janitors (6) never clean it.

Good luck lol I have 30+ janitors and still people complaining about trash. same with mechanics; I have a bunch, and the game tells me I should send them directly to rides that need to be fixed, but I have no way to find my mechanics...

how do you employ people?

There is no way to find them. They need to make an option so we can assign them to areas or jobs, at the very least see where they are. I had over 75 janitors and mechanics and I was only using 3 tiles. still got complaints and the game maxed my 8 GB RAM out and crashed.

All about the employees are crap right now.

- No way to define which path / ride they should primary take care about
- No education to make them better
- no overview about all my employees

long story short... everything was already in RCT3. Why to leave good things behind?

Don't think it is implemented yet.

It also seems like the employees have limited range from wherever you build the staff building. So even if you have like 30 janitors, you will still get messages about garbage and such if none of the janitor buildings is close to the specifc area.

Seems possible, but if that's the case, there should be a visible "range of influence" for the employee buildings, so you know what their range is. Similar to a police/fire department in simcity.

i was able to pick this employees up by double clicking on them
after that you can travel fast to the place they need to be
just got stuck there cause they where skyhigh and it dident seem i could release them again on a normal placement way

Probably because RCT3 is so old (well, not age-wise but technology-wise) that they had to build an entirely new engine. Seems like they're pretty much starting from scratch instead of rehashing old news. I find it interesting.

Anyways, if somebody could explain to me how I can SEE how many employees I have and manage them, that'd be great.

Don't you Read anything? the heat maps are phase one of the employees.. they are currently working oin a way to define areas, in thre mean time, use the heat maps, clock on the staff button and you will see where they are
