in my current park i built an adventure themed area, which was around a quarter of my total park.
i added ~200 scenery items to it. lots and lots of trees, some fog generators, fenced the hole area, added arches and signs and pxp buildings.
in the end the graph went up from around 200 to 250...
but perhaps you encountered a weird bug (as i did myself in my current park, but thats a different matter)
edit: it also could be possible, that the peeps don't like a lot of mixing of themes.
in real parks you also dont see a western themed ride right next to a space ship.
perhaps the devs kept that in mind ^^
The graph covers 6 months.
The western ride - the bucking bull thing - is a newish ride with all of that extra decor - it is all just over a month old.
I have a western themed ride, a sci-fi one, an adventure one and a generic one - yet I get no increase in attraction variety?
I am at the end of my second year of opening this stinking park.
It sucks.
This to me is possibly one of the reasons why I find making money difficult - if the game is not registering that I am improving my park.
I've had games where I just can't make any money.
my current park is in year 5 and im finally starting to make some good progress.
6 months is not that long ingame, one day is just a couple of seconds...
i think we have to think in larger scales compared to rct3 for example.
attraction variety, for example, is different themes but also different intensity ratings.
thats also a tough one, as is any rating so far, for me at least.
