why not?
get this. its 80% off & alot more castlevaniay then LoS imo.
Mirror of Fate was designed to fill the gap between Lords of Shadow and Lords of Shadow 2. Because it focuses on more than one character, and the story is really sparse, Mirror of Fate ends up looking more like a supplement than an actual game. Don't get me wrong, I still really like it and people should play Mirror of Fate, but I don't feel the same for these characters than I do for Gabriel Belmont (from Lords of Shadow).
I disagree that LoS is not Castlevania, it is a lot like the original NES games. I even often quote it as a great example of reboot. In short, it depends on what you like. LoS is very story centric, something no Castlevania before nor since has done. If you are a lover of story centric games, like I am, you will love LoS. If you prefer the occasional story with more freedom of exploration, MoF is more for you. However, being a great fan of SotN myself, I have to tell you that many fans were disappointed in MoF. It is not as good storywise as LoS and not as free exploration as SotN.
My advice, while I would recommend you to buy and play both LoS and MoF (and LoS2), go on YouTube or Twitch and look for walkthroughs. If you like what you see, buy the games and play for yourself. This is how I get into games, or not at all.
