Here's my feedback / first impressions:
I really like the simple controls.
The visuals are great, and the music is a bop.
Upgrading my character felt effortless with the drag and drop.
In the tattoo shop, I couldn't see my current health, which would influence my decision to buy the health tattoos. It may also be more clear if it said "max health".
It wasn't immediately clear to me that the "sparkly" items in the shop was how I could upgrade my current equipment.
I didn't realize that standing still would serve a new ball.
For many matches, the two central squares on the opponent's side were highlighted with a dotted border. I completed the demo and still don't know what that meant.
I liked using the critter.
Looking forward to seeing how this develops further!
Bug Report:
It seems like matches can sometimes start prematurely during tattoo parlor visits. (As evidenced by lots of racket sound effects). We had powerful ball on our side of the field with a low timer at the "start" of the match after hearing these sound effects.
Thank you for the suggestions and feedback! I've fixed the match occasionally starting while in-shop bug in 0.0.4 and I took notes on your "Max Health" feedback to implement in 0.0.5! Looking forward to adding more fixes and content as I develop the game further :)
Thanks again!
Michael
