HA dude youre like 20 years late to what this game is modeled after. This game is aiming to recreate the nostalgia and handling models of games from the late 80s to the early 90s. SEGA, ATARI, C64, AMIGA, DOS, PS1

literally make a bigger clown of yourself by displaying you are literally a cringeworthy child still! quit embarrassing yourself!

guess it's what we interpret it to, Gran Turismo, Revs, stunt car racer, maybe even test drive (road & track) back then, i'd call all these "oldskool but i guess it depends on interpretation.

He's right about CMR. First game came out in 1998 for PS1 and its clearly the main inspiration for OSR, it feels and looks that way for me at least. I've played CMR back when it released, I'm a fan to this day and I'm still play it once a year for a few hours. Such a great game (well to be fair, mostly nostalgia speaking at this point hehe).

OSR is clearly more CMR than let’s say Sega Rally, but kind of a hybrid in a weird way. Here there is no timer like in SR, and the physics are not "that" arcady.

OSR is fine, but to be honest, I'm a little disappointed too. It’s not as crazy fast and over the top as for example Sega Rally, it’s not as good as CMR in terms of like everything, from the graphics to the physics. The physics are a little off (sideways grip is too high imo). I adore the idea of OSR, love 90s racing games, but this feels like a mediocre 4/10 game from the 90s. Hey man, I mean, that itself is an accomplishment.

As for now, I'm more sad than angry or whatever, and I hope the devs keep at it, looking forward to future updates.

Old skool literally means, it belongs to the previous generation than the current. not the beginning of your childhood. thats called a classic. we all have classics and old skools. old skool is based on SOCIETY and the CURRENT YEAR and LAST GENERATION. Classics are based on personal age and experience.

So when Youre like 40, You will get to say you have old skool stuff to younger generation, until then youre just not old skool. and when you become a senior, you get socially classified as OLD. the stuff you like is now OLD. not old skool.

You really think you can pun intendid "School" me? lmfao.

Listen the term has no specifically defined era or period of time relative or otherwise to a persons age ...it's open to individual interpretation and mine is that that this expression term is not relevant to arcade games from all the years i have been playing video games, and i played some of the earliest car games, it pertains from my perspective and many other players to the original or i'll say it again oldskool racing titles such as Revs and stunt car racer and the like also RBR and CMR arn't even old relatively speaking .....maybe if the dev had narrowed it down and used the more specific term oldskool arcade racers, then that would be fine, but to use such a generic expression, Well i can challenge this anyway i desire, and it's not your justification, to pretend you actually know at all by emphazing your ignorant rhetoric with DUMB capital letters like you have the superior knowledge because you DON'T.....

If you must know it has it's roots in music and in general hiphop music, and it's use is and was generic, ...put that in your rhetorical pipe kid.
