The game needs more tools to find golems.

The recent update they did that lowered the chance for you to receive matching items is stupid beyond belief.

"Yes? Hello? I'd like to make the aspect of auto battlers people find fun a waste of time.

What's that? You already made item drop rates get lower for each item it has synchronicity with? Excellent!

Outside of swamp golems are plentiful and easy to find.

Crystal balls are visible from the start of the game and usually offer a Golem as one of their three options to direct you towards. If you want golems, beeline towards one and use it.

That said, Golems arn't particularly exciting. Golden items are simply x2 of whatever the base item is, and Diamond items x4. There's nothing special you get by upgrading them, it's strictly an inventory-saving method. Can be cool to use a junk gold or diamond item on a fairy to pivot to something else in the late game though.

No boss requires a gold item to be beaten. Look for synergies, not stats.
