How to cheat a country extremely powerful (single-player)?

I've been playing SP2 for about 164 hrs, enjoying every second of it, but I have a question.

How can I, in single player, make a country extremely powerful in economy and military using any sorts of cheats?

Are there any commands in SP2 that you can just type to, let's say, increase your army or budget?

I know this may come off as a, "why do you want to cheat", but, I just want to goof off once in awhile without having to build up economy and military.


If there's any other way besides GL editor (it doesn't work for me, some tabs don't open), please tell me. thanks!

I really want to know this as well. Personally I would just like to know if there is a way to clear out your Debt from your fixed expenses.

No there aren't any cheats that you're specifying.

The only cheats are the time and speed ones.
Type into the console
set_time #
set_speed #

Warning both cheats can create a buggy game. Especially on high speeds or weird times.

Well a money "cheat" is, with no mods, to set GTM and sector tax to 100%, and get boat loads of money. HOWEVER, you end up with, when i did i, NEGATIVE 400000% resources. Not good. But you get the sweet sweet $$$$$ or (insert Euro/Pound symbol here)

What I did, was man up and used the GL editor.

Here's how to use it & get it to work: (credit to people who taught me, which were multiple)

-Re-install the GL Editor

-Install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1

-Use an UNINSTALLED MOD database to edit (such as Mr. Monday's Mod or Realism), and edit it by taking the database out and placing it in a folder in DESKTOP, then editing it, then placing it back into the Mr. Monday's Mod, or whatever mod you're using.

-Install the mod into the game

-Enjoy

(I'm now able to play as the USA with 1E+35 US dollars :P)
