Beta Patch for Widescreen Problems

Hey guys,
We have a beta fix for the widescreen problems with the worldmap.
To access it please make RMB on SuperPower 2 in your Steam Client library and select properties.
Go to the "Betas" tab.
Enter the password: "SUPERPOWER2TEST" in the password field and press Check Code.
Select the branch named "test"

Please check it out if widescreen works now properly and give us your feedback. We would really appreciate it!

I believe it's been fixed to some extent, still needs some tweaking though. As I'm still sometimes struggling with commanding units and selecting countries on 1920x1080.

Would you say it makes a difference whether you click in the middle or on the sides? Both sides?

There's definitely a difference, middle is still the best way to command units and select things on the globe. Both sides are still pretty off when trying to select/command units.

I have trouble with my 1920x1080 screen too

Idon't know if this is because the test but im at this test and at 1920 x 1080 but I got the game on fast forward The unit symbol is moving a littel bit before the line

I was having the same issue, not seeing the battle screen options. I changed to 1440x90 60Hz and now I am getting a runtime error? Would this cause the runtime error??

MegalomaniacNG - I tried the beta fix. It seems to work, except some of the "terrain lower map box" inside the tactical battle screen is black sometimes? So, you can't see either force moving.

Not sure if this patch was supposed to solve this kind of problem, but in my game whenever I open up a battle screen I can't see the buttons to give orders or the button to close the window. Therefore in order to exit a battle screen I need to wait for the battle to finish. If I don't open the screen though I can’t tell if my forces are outmatched or not. :/

Using a 1366 x 768 screen on a Windows 7 laptop. Must play in full screen whether I like it or not due to the way the bottom tab functions on my OS.
