Which version should I choose?
The higher the version, the more the texture resolutions. If you have decent hardware capable of playing current or last gen games at an acceptable framerate, you can easily run High or High-Alt.
High-Alt is like High, but without ocean bathymetry (no ocean details), as an alternate flavor.

Specs

Recommended requirements for High are
- Decent graphics card with at least 2GB of VRAM
- 4GB of RAM
- A processor that isn't complete trash (think old pentiums)
- Patience (it takes a bit more than usual to load)

If you meet these specifications, you'll be able to run High or High-Alt smoothly without any problems.

Redux V4.6.3 has been marked as stable release.

V5 releaed. This is available as a Quick Patch link for existing V4 installations, or as the texture settings:
V5 added features:
+ Added new loading screen images to replace the default ones
+ Added port forwarding tool
+ Modified multiplayer chat window to have custom colors for players

Okay so I reinstalled my game, reinstalled Redux, but where can I find the patch to host without others needing to install it? I can't seem to find it

There are two mechanisms:
1 : Redux's S&S, which can be turned off in the configurator program
2 : SuperPower 2's V1.5.2, which cannot be turned off.

Not my fault, GolemLabs screwed up with the patch.

Redux V5-152 has been released. Main change is compatibility with V1.5.2 patch.
Sadly, with no possibility of a 4GB patched Joshua it is limited to the lowest resolution of textures.

Due to the V1.5.3 patch that undid all of 1.5.2s changes, Redux V5-2A has been released.
Main changes include:
* Undid V5-152's changes
* Changed large address aware patched joshua to be the 1.5.3 executable.

SuperPower 2 is great again!

* Updated Steam joshua.exe again to be the 1.5.3 version with a 4GB patch, as in the night of 02 October 2018,
GolemLabs had updated SP2 and didn't bother to tell us.

hello I have an HP Notebook - laptop with these Specs
Intel® Core™ i7-8550U (1.8 GHz base frequency processor) AMD Radeon™ 530 Graphics 8 GB DDR4 my system also has an Intel UHD Graphics 620 is this enough to play the game with this mod or do I need a better Laptop
