Which version should I choose?
The higher the version, the more the texture resolutions. If you have decent hardware capable of playing current or last gen games at an acceptable framerate, you can easily run High or High-Alt.
High-Alt is like High, but without ocean bathymetry (no ocean details), as an alternate flavor.

Specs

Recommended requirements for High are
- Decent graphics card with at least 2GB of VRAM
- 4GB of RAM
- A processor that isn't complete trash (think old pentiums)
- Patience (it takes a bit more than usual to load)

If you meet these specifications, you'll be able to run High or High-Alt smoothly without any problems.

If you get the patch provided, yes, but those with Vanilla will not support MaxPing and autokick

Magic Box uses its own client.dll and the developer refuses to cooperate with me.
However, you should still be able to by:
1 - Install
2 - Go to \Steam\steamapps\common\SuperPower 2\MODS\SP2

Right click on client.dll->Properties
Down in Attributes check Read-only, press Apply then OK.
Do the same for server.dll and SP2-HDM_Config.xml if you host

That should stop Magic Box from overwriting the server and client

I'd like to report a possible glitch.

Before my friend Heliotrope had this installed. My Economy and Available/Balance were doing great the way I had it set up. But now, it goes horribly whenever I set it to the way I normally set things up with my economy.

Make sure you control your inflation, HDMV9X removes the 10% cap and changes the calculations so that unstable nations have to do more.
Most economic strategies involve setting interest to 0% and forgetting about it, which won't work on this server.

Somehow i find this mod actually helps my economy. I make 2-3x as much as i did in base game.
