Options for MyCareer mode
Hello!

I don't want to repeat how that mode is bad, cause on HOF difficulty it's pretty unplayable. Hell, even on Superstar it's really annoying and not cause of my luck of skill - mostly I've ended up with -A and above grades. I am here to ask You, what difficulty and slider should I take to make the game a more real about the winning/loosing streaks. Pro with default/simulation or maybe Superstar with default? Have you checked those various settings?

I play on Hall of Fame Difficulty and have had my minutes set to ten. And my game style is simulation. That is what yeilds the most realistic experience for me. In terms of fouls, points, post game, interior defense, offensive reaction, and the stats also reflect it quite heavily to the more realistic side.

Maybe it is, but still - I want to get some fun from the game. Not constantly losing every single game, cause my teammates do nothing and opponent's AI is flawless in every aspect - no matter what team.

The thing is. Here... Let me give you a quick thing. When it comes to HOF. You don't think advanced... Think of the most basic things that could knock them off... Then when that knocks them off, you take advantage of the advanced stuff.

I play on Pro personally. Then again I'm not an expert at Basketball, I learn a lot through this game to be honest with you. Why not just try playing on Pro until you improve? I also play PG so I can manage the game better but I hear other positions are very underestimated. There are times in the game that are absolute, like if you turn over the ball and they get a shot off quickly open or not the AI seems to have about 95% chance of hitting shots(play the Cavaliers lately? LOL). This becomes increasingly obvious when you play in an All Star games and your teammates still play like rookies.

On HOF it looks like opponent's AI is getting some extra boost, when my teammates do literally nothing - no rebounds, no defense, even their shooting % is poor - no matter where I've played. I was in OKC team and we were kept loosing everything, but when I didn't play - just get simulate matches, suddenly we have started to winning almost everything. As I said - my play isn't poor. I've always ended up with A or A+ grade, got 20+pts. 10 rebounds - and still, it's not enough cause my team just sucks. Durant can't put anything to the basket, Westbrook keeps missing everything and the whole defense can't stop the worst teams in the league. It's not fun and it's not even realistic. NBA2K14 has had better balance in MyCareer.

It's all about momentum. Play on HoF to get more VC.
What is your rating? Which is your team? What year are you? What do you consider a realistic winning streak for your current situation?
This mode is designed to evolve around the player so AI is very stupid usually expecting you to do everything.

I've started new season again - for now it's going well as I am on 10-day contract. Superstar/Simulation.

I've been playing 2k for so long, when I play online I bust my friends on HoF, yet when it comes to My Career that ♥♥♥♥ has always been broken for HoF. The only reason it became so big is because all the youtubers started doing it. Personally ♥♥♥♥ people's opinons I play on All-Star and it yields fun, yet a struggle at times as well. I still always win V_V but oh well. Lol

Hall of Fame goes best with good teams that you're playing with. Not with Timbervolwes,Suns,etc..
Ask to be traded and not complain because you're with bad teammates..

It doesn't matter. I said I was in OKC already. They won the championship in previous year and when I stepped in, they suddenly started losing everything.
