Importing Created Players

Boy am I getting frustrated. Created several players. I assigned them to a team but when I started a new league (after stating that I wanted to use created lineups by turning "on") they were not there. Nor were they in the Free Agents list. I've tried erasing all league and GM files but no dice - the new players do not show. Unnecessarily difficult. This should be an easy thing. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

go to roster creator, then go to create roster and save it. then create a player, after you created a player, go to edit roster, then go to free agant roster then assign your created player to your prefered team and save.
so i assume if you start to play my gm or my league, there is a custom roster indicated in the start up option (at the bottom) and choose yes. then choose your roster file name. then that's it. hope it helps.
