MyTeam - Playbook important?

Trying to figure out the best playbook that I have to use, but I have no idea at all what I'm supposed to be going for.

Currently have 4 playbooks, Lakers, Cavaliers, Hawks, Jazz.

Am I supposed to be going for the book with more plays, or the book with better plays... and how am I supposed to see what plays are in what book (without waiting for the animation graphic to play through randomly which is not much help). I remember in 2k13 being able to edit plays and such, but 2k15.. no clue

Currently using hawks.

hawks 42 - bronze
cavaliers 39 - bronze
jazz 34 - bronze
lakers 34 - silver

i just choose which one i think its best plan
