MyGM Practice Intensity?
You can set individual player practice intensity and you can set a team intensity. Players ask me to raise/lower practice intensity so I raise or lower their individual intensity, since the game told me I can do that, to appease them. Still they are annoyed and accuse me of breaking promises to them about their practice intensity. A rookie told me he thinks I broke a promise to him, but I have his personal practice intensity as high as it can go and changed it BECAUSE of him telling me to in the first place. Every single player on the team plays different minutes so the starters all want lower practices and the bench wants better practice.

This is making the mode intolerable. I can already see that the mode is just going to be me slightly alterring every player's practice intensity, then moving the team intensity up and down based on whoever most recently complained to me. That's all it's gonna boil down to. Practice last year meant basically nothing in MyGM, and this year I've done more to alter practice intensity than any other thing so far, including trades and scouting. Why did Visual Concepts put this in? Do they ever test their games or do they just ship them out, knowing that the reviewers love all the bells and whistles they put on their garbage? 2k13 was the last good game they made and 2k11 was the only one that deserved the scores it got.

I've put almost all of my ~20 hours into MyGM and have had no problems with this at all.. Players rarely complain and your asst. GM or coach has a meeting with you every now and then to change it.

I honestly can say I've put in an hour into it, and literally the entire hour has been just players asking for more or less practice intensity. David West came in and said he wanted more, now he wants less. Shane Larkin thinks I broke a promise to him about it even though I literally raised his practice intensity to very high. It feels like the only thing that happens in this mode. It's a practice intensity and complaints simulator.

Yeah... of my probably 16-17 hours in just this mode, I can say I've probably put about 15-20 minutes into complaints. Seriously, it's hardly a thing in the mode. Maybe your players' personalities are just extremely different or something...
I'm having the same problem as you, I always have 1-3 guys complaining about intensity. For example, John Wall said practice wasn't intense enough so I put his intesity to the max. He complained again so I moved the team intensity to the maximum. Then he says I broke a promise by not making it intense enough. Wtf, and then I have like 3 other guys complaining it's too hard. I've had like 4 guys drop their morale to 0 because of this ♥♥♥♥.

Try to avoid promises unless they're in the same direction ( 2+ saying raise, 2+ saying lower ). Breaking promises really destroys morale, but denying and using the right option for their personality trait ( just check b4 talking to them ) barely hurts really. I simmed thru a whole year to see the draft process this year and only changed intensity when the asst. GM had a meeting with me. Even though I only changed it when he met with me, and had a horrible record, chemisty was fairly high and nobody was losing ratings for morale/chemistry.

I've got the same problem with training intensity. Right now I'm just completely ignore talking to the players if they have any problems, because most of the time someone's really pissed.

The "broken promise" thing should really be fixed next year.

For example, Wiggins got an injury for 4-6 Weeks, Pekovic tells me not to trade for anyone because we've already got enough talent (wtf? my team is ranked 27th in the league) and wait till Wiggins is fit. I "promise" him to do that.
What happens? Wiggins is really disappointed and looses all his trust in me because I dont get a replacement for him?

Because of the promise to Pekovic I also didnt trade for anyone. Months after Wiggins is back, I trade Barea for a few 2nd Round Picks and what happens?
Pekovic hates me because I broke a promise ?!

This whole player morale thing really needs some work because in the end you can only lose.

I like the idea of the feature, but right now its just black/white and doesnt make any sense.
Or how your number 1 seeded team nearly loses 4 seasons in a row to the number 8 seed
