a big plus 1
so much tears.
If you've been playing the MyCareer Mode for several years now, you know this attribute influences your ability to consistently make all your shots regardless of defenders around you. In previous games this was simply called consistency under tha Mental category. A low Offensive Consistency will make your player a streaky shooter. There will be moments where you are making all your shots and layups and then suddenly you miss on everything including wide open shots and layups. You'll see your percentages suddely drop form high 50s to below 20.
If you're wondering why your wide open shots are missing... This attribute is one of the problem. It's stuck at 50 and does not go up when you upgrade your attributes.
The other issue... The 2k series has a atrocious, arbitrary AI system that doesnt make sense. I think they called this Momentum or something. Anyway... What the AI does is lower ALL your stats by 10 or more and your superstar player into a joke. Momentum will kick in when your team has a marginally wide lead and when your player is making a high percentages of his shots. Momentum will make your team mates stupid and make the opponents into super stars regardless of their skillsets. The AI will pick and chose who it wants to become the dominant player on the opposing team. I've seen Bogut make 10 straight 3 pointers and Perkins running the fastbreak like Brandon Jennings... At first I thought these were bugs... But no. This is how 2k makes the game challenging. They're too incompetent to come up with a better, smarter system that doesn't force you to be bad and makes the AI cheat to be better.
Restarted the career and went to the Raptors. They make contested 3's, halfcourt shots, contact dunks, rebound about 80% of my misses...I don't even have to do anything for us to win...
I have been playing as a PG and have gotten no less than 10 assists for the past maybe 7 or 8 games in a row, but that doesn't mean there isn't still a problem. I get 10 assists because I should be getting 20-25. The AI defense sags, the AI teammates don't take or miss open shots constantly.
I don't get 10 assists because players make a realistic FG%, but because I pass so many times so deep in the post and get them so open that they only miss maybe 60% of the time. I never pass to my shooting guard or small forward unless it's a fast break dunk or alley-oop. Every play for me has to be in the paint, regardless of who is on the team. It's really a shame, it destroys the mode. Maybe because DeRozan has a high rating he makes shots, I didn't have that with Lance Stephenson who should be similarly rated.
my hot head friends have this plobelm too.
but i didnt
its about momentum i think
u just have to be patient like coach said becuase
ai more smart this year
when u guy improvise i thinks many move ball fast and risk pass
i did that too
but i learn that ai smart as steal
and i keep calm and make more smart play (switch too plan , postmove , pick n roll etc. )
it much better
so i think it's about how we play
this game cant just improvise only like other sport game
ive just upped it to hof for more vc, but i still get the same stats as always since i dont change my play style. the only thing that changed was my turnovers, i started getting around 2-3 when i started playing on hof, thats about it..
I already have this problem in All star difficulty, where the Rockets (even Harden and Howard) play really bad. At the beginning, I thought it was my fault, not sharing the ball enough... then I switched to Pro difficulty, and my team-mates were much better.
It seems that the difficulty level applies not only to my player, but to my whole team! Am I right?
