Max amount of controllers for local multiplayer.

I have the xbox wireless adapter for my computer and have 5 xbox controllers. So far we have only been able to use 3 of them, it looks like 2k15 recognizes all of them, but only allows 3 of them to be moved during the team selection screen. Did they remove this feature?

I was wondering about this too. Back in 2k14 for PC me and my friends were playing 3 on 3 with 4 xbox controllers and 2 direct input controllers. Or we played a team with 5 players against the AI. 2k15 only sees 4 controllers on the team selection screen. How can we all play like this again? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I could play three players. It worked with 3 XBOX 360 controllers. That's all I've got to test with though. Once you're in the game, each player go into settings and choose a specific position so it's not as confusing.

Dude, how do you pass the ball to your friend while playing like this? I mean, if we are 2 players (me and my friend) in one team when i pass the ball i receive it myself again, unless i specifically aim for the player my friend is. I wanna pass the ball and my friend always be the one to receive. Does this make sense to you? like soccer games when playing multiplayer

You can actually lock to a position. C, PF, PG etc. You can also lock by a specific player so for example, when you're playing the lakers, you can be Kobe but once you're benched, an AI player replaces you on the court.
