Should I buy 2k14 or 2k15??

Hey I'm planning to buy 2k14 or 2k15, just curious if 2k15 is going to be worth the as this is going to be my first nba2k game. Oh and also if you think it might be too early to judge the game as it just came out just tell me so I would patiently wait.

2k15 is a LOT better... Especially for PC...

2k15 for sure, it's a great game! Just expect the servers to be laggy for about another week or so

Also, would playing it singleplayer only fun, because I live in New Zealand and I don't think many people here would play this on pc.
Is the multiplayer in 2k14 and 15 good, like does it lag or anything?

They are two completely different games, 2K14 last gen isn't even a worthy alternative. Get 2K15, done.

Multiplayer is laggy now, but thats because the servers are just starting to get used to everything.. In a week or so there shouldn't be much lag.

But, you live in New Zealand, so I would imagine you would lag more then someone from US... And I love the single player so far!

Oh and last thing, what is up with the player reviews in Steam of this game.

Single player (my career and my league) is quite improved upon. As a basketball enthusiast, 2K15 is a very realistic game. The AI is top notch, animations are extremely fluid, shot percentages change via situation and movement. The game play itself has been awesome compared to 2k14, and 2k14 was a huge leap over 13 on PC. After playing 2k15 I don't think I'll go back to 2k14 ever again.

How is the performance? I read that the system requirements are quite high, and heard that they are exagerated(which I hope it is, since I have a decnt computer that but can run most games on high on my native res.).

For me it runs flawlessly at 60fps on 1080, but my PC is pretty decent.

Also from NZ and so far I've only seen 2 others in the park around 8pm our time I imagine this will pick up at later hours when more Aussies are on and as servers improve.
There is a little lag but thats mostly from the server instability not to mention I'm too far from the phone exchange to get decent adsl speeds (and no option for fibre or vdsl).

I got into this series with 2k13 for pc and loved it, grabbed 2k14 on pc to be disappointed but then grabbed it on ps4 and loved the single player aspect.

2k15 pc/xbone/ps4 improves on a lot of the flaws from 2k14, and offers a lot of tutorials and practice options to get you up to speed on how to play. The gm mode is great if like me you've always wanted to get into the fm manager but always been over-daunted by the sheer amount of information at your hands. Career mode has a great rpg aspect to it, you can be a complete egotistical jerk or a complete gentleman.

Definately grab this one over 2k14.
