No longer able to cheat on My Player
The upgrade points are now server bound, which means you cannot use hex software to rig your points. I like this idea to make the people have to earn their points.

It also means people can just buy points. or at least they could on the new gen versions last year.

yes, but at least its not using game editors and getting millions of points and starting with a 99 rated player

Go offline to switch from VC to just regular points. Then you can memory edit your points. Worked for me.

Beware. You can no longer 99 max out your MyPlayer. The new skill points allocation system has 2 things. Upgrade Points and Skill Points. Skill Points are the same thing as previous MyPlayer. Upgrade Points on the other hand are new. You have a limited number of Upgrade Points you can use. If you use up all your Upgrade Points on maxing out your offense, you will no longer be able to allocate points to other parameters like rebounding, passing, or defense.

You have to decide on what kind of player you're making. Rebounding Bigs or a quick Combo Guard with mediocre passing skills. You can no longer have it all.

If you guys want easy VC points, go download the MyNBA2K15 app. You can get bonus VC every hour.

Who cares if someone wants to cheat? It's offline game mode. Does this hurt you in anyway?

Yes, because you can take that player online to the park and with the addition of VC gambling I would rather not have cheaters playing and stacking up VC.

Very interesting. A lot of people edit their My Players, but I like that they have a cap on it so that not everyone plays like KD/LeBron/MJ . Since these will be in the park mode, people will be good but not everyone running around with all 99 skill ratings.

99 rated players in MyPark is not that big of a deal. I played plenty of them in the Park last year on the PS4 and most of them aren't very good.
