Question for solo players

Does anybody know if the medical generator is something that once slotted in you can't take it back if you don't end up using it? I can't remember how it works and it's been ages since I watched anybody play the game to know how it is after the solo update to it.

Pardon if already asked somewhere, I tried looking for keywords about it on here but nothing popped. I forget there is a discord though.

Yeap, you can't take it back after it's been slotted. Learnt that the hard way 😭

Eh I'm still grateful for all the tweaks so single players can enjoy still though. Be glad when I can start carrying extra gear for when a monster wipes me in the night though lol. Have to wait til sunrise sometimes. Those xenomorph looking ones always rip me.

You dont have to wait all night, there is a computer in the med building you can land your ship as soon as it hits 1am. So you dont have to sit there all night and you still keep your codes and everything.

You dont have to wait all night, there is a computer in the med building you can land your ship as soon as it hits 1am. So you dont have to sit there all night and you still keep your codes and everything.

Oh snap! See, this is why I like this game. A lot of nifty quality of life aspects to it that helped improve on this... I dunno I consider this whole loot and repeat sometimes for a quota as a new genre of game these days, but I'm all for it. Just sometimes it's a pain as a solo player. A lot of these tweaks are nice that way for a solo player. I thought it would honestly just send me back home is why I hadn't messed with it. Steam doesn't always tell me about every single update so I missed the patch notes it was listed in.
