The uncontrollable nature of falling blocks and worker death
.. is utter b.s. - this, on both occasions the demo has been out in the last few months (and when I discovered the game) has led to alt+f4'ing the game.
It is insufferable how I'll pan off screen and then hear the squish noise or even be observing the workers and seeing it happen but not really understanding why. I beg you remove it.

There are sand blocks (at least i guess it`s sand) and stone blocks, if you mine a block underneath them, they will fall down. The sand block will fall with a delay, the stone block will fall directly and cause additional damage. You can mine them from the side but you should not already have already marked the next block, or your worker will move automatically underneath and be squashed. I saw something similar with a volcano, but wasnt paying full attention, so i guess that there was a stone above the volcano, destroying the volcano and killing the workers underneath, which were mining the volcano at that time. If you mine cautious or pay attention, you can minimize or completely eradicate this issue.
