This has been the standard response from day 1 with the console release. Here is the problem though. Even with a fully upgraded bike, whips still feel and look awkward and unnatural. I have played Motocross Madness 1 & 2, MX Unleashed and MX vs. ATV Unleashed and could throw awesome whips that looked and felt great. Reflex whips are ok, not great, but SX is way off the mark. I never had to keep practicing whips in the older games because they just felt natural.
I have watched pretty much every gameplay video of people playing MVA SX posted to youtube since it's release on console and have yet to see anyone throwing really good looking whips. It feels like I'm trying to whip a Boeing 747 with a missing wing. Slow, stiff and just plain ugly.
I have kept quiet every time I have seen that response you guys give until now. At some point you guys have to realize that the customer is right. It might be too late to make it better in this game, but I really hope you're taking notes for the next game.
I'm not trying to be rude and please don't read this as an angry post. I like most of the game. My biggest complaints are the way the bike reacts in the air and the rear tire could use more grip. It slides out into a 180 too often and unexpectedly right now.
I never said I can't do whips in this game, I just don't like the way they look or feel. That's my opinion though and doesn't count for much. And about the rear grip, I never even mentioned cornering. Most of the time it happens on straights or in rhythm sections, just suddenly sideways or spun around for no reason.
