[solved] Help, I lost all my save progress

I'm the type of guy that likes to Alt+F4 out of games to save some time (because sitting in a menu waiting for animations is just frustrating) and earlier today I did just that (alt+f4) and now when I wanted to play again it has reset my savefile AND overwritten the steam sync savefile with a brand new blank savefile.

Is there anyway I can get my old savefile back OR does anyone have a savefile with the majority of the stuff done, atleast up to the 650 bike ?

Savefiles can be found in: <Steam DIR>\SteamClient\userdata\<user id>\282050\remote

If you have Windows configured as such, it might have saved a previous version of that file or folder. Instructions below.

1. Right-click on the "remote" folder and select Properties from the context menu.
2. Click the Previous Versions tab from the Properties Menu and look for the most applicable timestamp.
3. Select a folder and click the Restore button then confirm.

There is no Previous Versions tab for me. Could be because I recently (1 week+ ago) ran a system restore (which auto removes all restore points for some reason) and haven't made another restore point yet.

I'll just hope that someone can share their savefile with me.

I found someone willing to give me their savefile and I thought I'd share it just incase someone else has this problem (ofcourse someone else will, i already had it happen over 5 times).

Remember to turn off cloud sync or steam might attempt to replace it with your old savefile.

Its your savefile but I unlocked a couple things myself on it too.
