Performance: Help The Devs - Specs/Benchmarks

Dear rainbow team,
it is well-known that there is some performance issue affecting the entire game for many players.

The issue results in having frame rates clearly below 30fps, making racing modes outside of supercross tracks unplayable on powerful rigs, even at 1280x768. Also, the sx performance is barely acceptable.

I would like to offer a chance to identify the main cause so that we are able to finally nail and fix it as uncomplicated as possible.

Because of this, i would kindly ask you to maintain a dialogue regarding the issue during the further procedure.

Can we do something to help fixing the issue?
What information is known, what more information is needed?
Can we do anything to accelerate the progress?

Would be nice if players having performance issues would give us some feedback in form of benchmark results for the tracks specified at the form attached, helping the devs to find out what the core problem is.
You can estimate all values using fraps and its benchmark feature:

Ok so the people Who are not having problems im noticing are mainly intel users..

I Myself have An AMD Cpu and had terrible issues with the game ..

Wich is pretty annoying when i can run the old one perfect flawlessley

Download "FRAPS" (It's free)

It has a benchmark tool built in, under its settings you will see that benchmark is key f11. Hit f11 at the starting gate to start the benchmark and again after the finish line to end the benchmark.

Looks like a ps1 graphics -.- play a few games on this pc its not the issue... any other games fine

ive tried every setting in the settings menu.. seem to have no affect at all either on HIGH or LOW ?

On playstation ..

only reecently i got into pc gaming

With that system you should be able to run the game on low settings and have a smooth race....

But...

Low settings do not matter yet so your stuck with the lag. I recommend turning motion blur off.... it seems to make a difference. Also go into your control panel and set your graphics driver settings to "high performance" so you can run out your graphics card as a possible bottleneck.

i cant find any setting in controll pannel to alter my graphic driver settings?

I dont personally think its my GPU as i play more intense games Fine..

I.e Shadow of modor on Very high not a problem. .....

sniper elite 3 ... Fine

GTA med > high settings Perfect

yet a horrible lag on Mx :(

No .... under 3D settings you will see a drop down box called Texture Filtering .... set this to High Perfromance. Watch this video to see how.

Although Dont listen to this guy when he says "leave these settings alone" he clearly has no idea what he is talking about with texture filtering. Its a widly used setting to help with smoothing out a laggy PC game on a lower end graphics card.

im on a 64 bit OS isnt that the problem ?

That does not matter. Probably 90% of all programs on your PC are 32-bit. Basically just means it can't use all of your ram if you have more then 3.5GB installed and the game does not need that much.
