New Update: Track Editor & Workshop Support
We just shipped a new update including a full featured track editor and Workshop support. The track editor can upload tracks to Steam Workshop and the game can download those via Steam workshop.

PS: Check out the workshop - our Track Editor Beta Testers already created some tracks :)

It is a launch option when you open Encore in steam :) (may require a steam restart after the update)

Seems to be full featured. The menu ToolTips are NOT scaling correctly on my 4K (3840x2160) display, the text is so small I can't read it, I made a lot of tracks with the Unleashed editor and look forward to trying this one.

Two other notes
1. I tried a couple of the tracks as national races and none of them had working lap counters
2. The user tracks do not recognize the choice of vehicle, they run the last vehicle used i.e., if I select a track and a 250mx bike but was running a 50cc pit bike in the main game, the user track opens with the 50cc pit bike, not the 250.

Are you talking about running those ingame or via the editor where the lap counter is missing and the bike selection not working?

i tried to export my track and...

Great to see a track editor being released for this. Any chance you could add a textured+wire frame view like the unleashed editor has? Helps a lot when making tight singletrack. Also possibly brush highlighters like unleashed has.

@Gamma20: button for wireframe is 5th from the right side of the toolbar.

@xandeqs: a few questions for you:

Do you have any objects placed, if yes which ones? Can you remove them 1 by 1 until it compiles?
Are Steam and Encore installed in the default location?
Have you checked your Encore install to see if it needs repair?

I am wondering if any of the original game files are either missing or access is restricted for some reason, like file ownerships or files are open in a different application.

@mcm2boys: Yes, but that is a fully transparent wireframe and is much harder to see. I am talking about a textured view with wireframe overlay. Not transparent at all. Just like the Unleashed editor has.

edit: I will say that if you turn off the lighting it is a bit clearer view if anyone has similar problems. still, textured view with wireframe is a lot better.
