Music not working. Help!

Sound works but no music. Running on windows 10, any ideas?

Replace winmm.dll (the file you have already removed) with version from this pack[rr2000.toshiba-3.com] (may not work with other Windows than Windows 10).
Also check Music option in game.

Try this.

This was a "no music fix I found in regards to the original Rainbow Six, and the same works for Carmageddon 2 (at least it worked for me.)

1. Download and install the the patched _inmm.dll file from the PCGaming Wiki link below.

2. Patch the CARMA2_HW.EXE
Drag the CARMA2_HW.EXE file from the carmageddon2 game folder onto the the _inmm.dll setup file.

3. Open _inmm.dll setup and add *.ogg to the file type with direct show as the player, change default to direct show as well

4. Go to the _inmm.ini tab and add all the music from music folder from the Carmageddon 2 game folder. You'll also need to change it to "show all files" before adding the music.

5. Press save and put the file it wants to save with the CARMA2_HW.EXE file.

BINGO!

I hope that works for all of you.

Hi, sorry I have the same problem with the audio, I was stuck in step 2 you say to drag the CARMA2_HW.EXE File into the File the installation file _inmm.dll. but how?

Drag the CARMA2_HW.EXE file from the carmageddon2 game folder onto folder "_inmm"

Open "_inmmcnf.exe"

Go to tab "Patch", on "Group" section select "SCi ltd.", on "Title" select "Carmageddon" and press "Patch". Search for "CARMA2_HW.EXE"

Next, go to tab "method", on "File Type" add "*.ogg", on "Player" select "DirectShow"... Go to "Default" and change "Winamp" to "DirectShow"

Go to tab "_inmm.ini" press "add" and select all tracks from "carmageddon 2" folder. Press save and select "Carmageddon 2" folder.

Drag the "CARMA2_HW.EXE" Patched to the "carmageddon 2" folder.

Play the game!

If you get an ERROR like this "DirectShow filter for this format is not installed"

You need codecs!!!
