Mission time going too fast

Hello there,

When I try to play the outbreak mission, the time just goes by way to fast. 1 second basically is 2 seconds, so the game is forcing me to complete it in half the time, which I just can't.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I figured it out after posting this, I don't fully remember what the issue was but I do remember it had to do with my FPS going over 60. When I limited my FPS to 60 FPS (Vsync or some other software) the time moved in a normal way again! Thank you for your reply!
