Screen scrolling

Back when I ran this off a cd-rom you could scroll around the map by bringing your mouse tot the screen edges. Can't seem to get that to work Is it worth it to keep trying or should I dig up that disc?

That would be great! Sadly, it's not there. So far, I've gotten it to start working by alt+enter twice. At least a workaround helps!

Really? That doesn't seem to do anything for me.
I had the GoG version on my old laptop and also can't recall having to scroll with keys or right click dragging, but wasn't totally sure.
Would love to have screen-edge scrolling. Wonder how that hardly seems to bother anyone.

Is there any statement, why that got removed/not ported, if in fact it was in the original game

Ok, took me a while to realize it's simply related to Fullscreen-mode vs windowed mode.
In Fullscreen-mode edge-scrolling works, even though they unfortunately didn't seem to bother to make it as smooth as right-click-dragging. Sad it doesn't work in windowed mode, as I would have prefered to use that. At least it still is there.

Thank you for kindly sharing your knowledge and experience. You are indeed correct that this feature does indeed require full screen exclusive mode.
