Anno 1503 - History Edition

Bought it but can't play it?
I just bought the game and downloaded it, ubisoft connect says im not the owner, cannot start.

Yeah all three History Edition games do not work...
good to know pay 5$ for a game and 1 hour troubleshooting it.
All 3 work for me.
I had ubisfot connect open alongside steam. Not sure what can be the cause of it not working outside of maybe the ubisfot and steam accounts not being paired for you?

same, i need an activation key?! wtf? where is activation key?
Uplay mean that they will steal the games which you bought, i've already gone through this. Wanted to try this games, but i saw uplay required and 2024 there are all reasons to not buy any game with uplay, and i said to myself: "No Yves Guillemot, this time you are deceiving yourself".
Guys just restart the games one more time. At least that's what worked for me. After starting each game a second time, the Ubisoft app activated the game automatically

Hi fancy,

Those steps provided are for when there is an activation key available and how to obtain and redeem it. Not all games have an activation key, some will automatically be bound to the Ubisoft account the first time the game is launched.

The request to redeem a key can also happen if you already redeemed the game on an account then tried launching it whilst logged into a different Ubisoft account.

If you are still experiencing this issue yourself I would recommend trying the following:

. Restart Steam and Ubisoft Connect then launch the game again
. If the issue persists try launching Steam and Ubisoft Connect with administrator rights to see if that works - https://ubi.li/Wvn4L
